It is time for me to take the leap forward into summer vacation – but before i go, one more goodie for you nerds!
We all know barcodes, which appear on literally everything we buy, but what about QR codes ? A QR code
is a specific matrix barcode that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers – or smartphones.
What’s cool about that? Berlin street artist SWEZA
created a new interactive audio-visual experience using QR codes. In his first installment, he created a 80s ghetto-blaster
stencil with a QR code on it. Now, when you are owner of a smartphone you simply launch your QR code reader application
and place it over the QR code on the stencil and you will get the embedded message. In this case: Tape 01 Beatbounce by Deniz Khan.
