My skating history began in the early 90s and lasted for three weeks. The best trick my friends and I could do was throwing our skateboards out a fifth floor window to see which deck landed cat-like on its wheels. What does this have to do with Shwood‘s latest experiment?  I could have donated my abused deck to Eric Singer and his creative friends in order to get an awesome retro piece of eyewear . . .
Shwood’s in-house manufacturing process merges precision technology with classic skilled craftsmanship to create a timeless art form. Every step from veneering and precision lens cutting, to shaping and finishing is conducted in our own Portland-based workshop to promise an entirely handcrafted eyewear piece.
