“I want to feel like I’m in a Shanghai nightclub.” This was the brief that advertising baroness/TED talker Cindy Gallop gave to Stephan Boublil to transform her chosen location – the men’s locker room of the first YMCA in the US – into “the ultimate bachelorette pad.” Designed around an all black theme, the only pops of color come from various objects Gallop has collected from around the world. The gold dipped Gucci chainsaw happens to be my fave. Check it out for yourself… And if the pictures aren’t enough apartment porn for you, check out the video below… http://vimeo.com/6200961 Which Shanghai nightclub does it most resemble? Im thinking 88 mixed with some Mr. and Mrs. Bund and a little El Coctel sprinkled on top. all photos via freshome
