WLTB is back with a late 90s Indian-dub-lounge classic, ‘Lebanese Blonde by Thievery Corporation‘.  Thievery Corporation was formed in 1995 by Washington, DC natives Rob Garza and Eric Hilton.  The pair were drawn together through their love of club life as well as dub and jazz records.  Their musical style mixes these with elements of world music: from reggae to Indian classical, Middle Eastern, and bossa nova. Lebanese Blonde layers sitar and soft, catchy vocals over a funky bassline, perfect for a chillaxed day poolside. The name is slang for particularly strong Lebanese hashish. Tune in and dream on!
